tvSoundGuy.com was created and is run by a real, live, TV Sound Guy.

My name is Blair Halver. I've been in Television since 2003 and have loved every day. Well, almost every day. I work a lot of reality shows, talk shows, and some sports. I lived in Los Angeles for six years until relocating back to my home in North Carolina. I now travel for work, doing mostly out-of-town shows. They're more fun anyway.

Seeing that the world lacked an online resource like this, I created this site to be a hub for the tight-knit community of elite sound engineers known as Television Sound Guys and Gals. It is intended to be very specific to television sound crew.

With that said, I hope you enjoy the site!

(By the way, this site is not just for male sound mixers, despite the title. tvSoundPerson.com just didn't have the same ring to it.)
